Miguel Rico is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice since 2010. He earned his Master’s in Administration of Justice and Security from UOP in 2008. He formerly worked as a Detention Officer, Patrol, and retired as a Sergeant with the El Paso Sheriff’s Office after 27 years. As a Sergeant, he was in charge of the SWAT team, Special Operations Team, School Resource Officers, and Patrol. He is interested in providing the latest criminal justice education, combined with job experience.
