Representatives from dozens of regional and out-of-state school districts will be at The University of Texas at El Paso from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, to be part of the upcoming College of Education Fall 2016 Teacher Job Fair.

UTEP student teachers, recent graduates and members of the community with teaching credentials are encouraged to attend this event along the concourse inside the Don Haskins Center. Past teacher job fairs have drawn hundreds of participants.

Last year’s job fair brought in representatives from Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona and Wyoming.

“The College of Education is pleased to welcome regional and out-of-state school districts along with prospective teacher candidates to our campus on November 10 to participate in the upcoming Teacher Job Fair,” said Cyndi Giorgis, Ph.D., dean of the College of Education. “During this event, school district personnel have an opportunity to meet and interview our high-quality graduates who have been prepared for success in the classroom.”

Organizers suggest attendees to dress professionally and come with updated resumes.
