This year’s talent lineup includes headliner We the Kings; Jenny and the Mexicats; and Prime 80’Z.

Food vendors including Southwest Kettle Corn, El Cruzero Mexican Grill, Papa John’s, Snowies, Caramelized Almonds, and Famous Dave’s will be set up throughout the event grounds. Food trucks at the event include Off the Grill, Thai Rub, Ay Cocula, That Roll Thing and Clasico. Food and snack items start at under $3. Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted.

Pete’s Playground will operate from 6 to 11 p.m. and will be located near the north entrance of the Sun Bowl. The family-friendly games and inflatables in this area will require tickets, which may be purchased with cash or credit card. Each activity requires one to three tickets to play. Tickets cannot be used to purchase food or beverage items.

The Pete’s Playground games are one of the largest annual fundraisers for UTEP’s student organizations. No refunds will be issued for unused tickets.

Adult activities include a beer and wine garden and attractions from some of the event sponsors.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Free parking will be available around campus starting at 5 p.m. and there will be an ADA shuttle running between the Sun Bowl 2 (SB2) parking lot and the Minerpalooza venue starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 11:30 p.m. Parking will be free in the Sun Bowl and Schuster parking garages; parking in the Glory Road Parking Garage costs $10.

Minerpalooza is a concealed campus carry exclusion zone, and concealed handgun license carriers are not permitted to bring weapons into the event.
