The UTEP women's basketball team trounced Morehead State 68-41 on Sunday night in the Don Haskins Center. At halftime, Kayla Thornton, a Miner alumna who plays on the WNBA-championship winning New York Liberty team, was honored with a key to the city and saw her jersey retired.
