UTEP has selected two 2024 Distinguished Alumni and 10 Gold Nugget Award recipients. Their stories exemplify the University’s values and reinforce the influence UTEP graduates have on the professional world.

EPCC, UTEP Kick Off Engineering Academy

UTEP and El Paso Community College (EPCC) officially welcomed the inaugural cohort of students to the newly established EPCC | UTEP Engineering Academy last week. The program offers concurrent enrollment at EPCC and UTEP to begin an engineering education.

UTEP secured a 3-0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-23) sweep over Louisiana Tech on Sunday afternoon at the Thomas Assembly Center. UTEP improves to 18-2 (8-0 Conference USA) while LA Tech drops to 6-15 (0-8 CUSA).
