UTEP Plans to Award Nearly $3 Million in Mining Engineering Scholarships Every Year

Students enrolling in the proposed mining engineering program will be eligible for nearly $3 million in scholarships that will be awarded annually once the program reaches full capacity. UTEP President Heather Wilson made the announcement last week, along with The University of Texas System Interim Chancellor John M. Zerwas, M.D.
