UTEP Researchers Boost Microalgae Biofuel Yields with Nanotechnology

A team led by the College of Science’s Hamidreza Sharifan has demonstrated how nanotechnology can significantly improve biofuel production from microalgae, offering a potential path forward for the renewable energy source.

Employees have until July 31 to make changes to their benefits elections, which go into effect Sept. 1, 2025.
