UTEP Reasserts Prestigious R1 Research Status

UTEP has once again earned R1 status in the latest Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, confirming the University’s position among top research universities nationwide. R1 is the highest research classification a university can attain.

UTEP Wind Symphony Joins Grammy-Winning Group

The Wind Symphony will be joined by Grammy Award-winning quintet Imani Winds and special guest, UTEP faculty member Zuill Bailey. The performance is FREE for students, faculty and staff, $5 for adults and $3 for non-UTEP students and military.

UTEP Choirs in Concert this Week

UTEP choirs, including Cantare, Singing Miners, Concert Chorale and Chamber Singers, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the First Baptist Church of El Paso, located at 805 Montana Ave.
