Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Educates on Food Insecurity

The UTEP Consultation, Advocacy, Resources and Education Program, or UTEP CARE, is teaming up with the Food Pantry on Tuesday, Nov. 18 for a Resources Fair in the Memorial Gym lobby from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., followed by a Hunger Banquet in the Tomás Rivera Conference Center from 5:30-7 p.m. Bring three canned goods to participate in the Hunger Banquet.

UTEP Graduate Students to Compete in ‘Three Minute Thesis’

This competition encourages students to explain their research in three minutes and in a language appropriate for a non-specialist audience. The event is at 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 in the Undergraduate Learning Center, Room 106, and is open to everyone.
