Giving begins at noon Tuesday, April 21 and ends at 8 p.m. MDT April 22. Join the Block Party 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 at Centennial Plaza for free food, games, giveaways and more!

UTEP All-Female Rocket Team Wins Lone Star Cup Championship

The Sun City Summit Rocket Team has taken first place at the Lone Star Cup, earning its second consecutive win at the statewide competition. The Lone Star Cup challenges collegiate rocketry teams from across Texas to demonstrate precision engineering and execution under real-world conditions.

Level Up at Edge Symposium

This experience is designed for students to explore opportunities, meet alumni and grow their Edge. Participants will engage in recognition and community-building events, Edge-focused programming and showcases, alumni engagement and student-centered presentations.

Experience the excitement of innovation at the Miners' Pitch Competition’s Pitch Day, where UTEP students take the stage to present their business ideas after weeks of mentoring and preparation. The showcase is open to all entrepreneurs, mentors and supporters of student success, and runs 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Friday, April 24 in the Tómas Rivera Conference Center in Union Building East.

ICYMI: Dance Team Celebrates National Win

Last weekend, local media outlets covered the UTEP Dance Team’s return from Florida after winning the 2026 National Dance Alliance Collegiate Championship in the Dance Spirit Rally Division IA category. KVIA was at El Paso International Airport as the team was greeted by supporters on Sunday, April 12.
