- Addressing COVID-related compliance requirements involving face coverings and social distancing: This helpful guide is intended to assist the UTEP community in achieving compliance and supporting a safe and healthy environment.
- All vendors, visitors, and members of the public will be expected to abide by University health and safety protocols, policies and procedures. Please reference the Supplier Guidelines for Working on Campus in Response to COVID-19 document.
- In the interest of keeping the campus community and vendors safe, vendors are expected to abide by any safety precautions communicated by the University.
- All vendors and suppliers who have any questions about entering campus are advised to contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chick-Fil-A (EPNGCC) and Texas Western Café (Library) will be open on the First Day of Class (August 24). The staggered opening of additional locations will be communicated to campus accordingly. As locations open, customers can use the “ What’s Open Now” tool to find information on location hours of operation.
The University Bookstore is open to the public. Customers can continue to shop online at utepbookstore.com. An In-Store pickup option is available for web purchases.
Counter services will be in place on the First Day of Class (August 24), Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). New orders and quotes can continue to be submitted to email@example.com.

Departments can email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule delivery times and dates, and/or coordinate mail pickup between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. The Department mail pickup should be designated to one individual for the entire department.
YWCA Early Learning Center
The Early Learning Academy will be open on the First Day of Class (August 24). Those needing childcare can contact the YWCA for enrollment information, or to reserve a space by emailing email@example.com or calling (915) 747-6000.

Our return to campus plans will abide by social distancing recommendations. According to CDC guidelines, the recommended minimum separation between asymptomatic individuals is six (6) feet.
Purchasing and General Services
Purchasing provides the resources for the procurement of goods and services to support our campus community.
UTEP CARE Packages
All departments will be receiving a UTEP CARE Package. Delivery of the UTEP CARE Package is being coordinated with College Administrative Officers and division leadership. General distribution to departments is expected to take place the last week of August.
Pickup of refill supplies will be coordinated through the departments and the Facilities Services Warehouse.
