WORLD WATER WEEK 2022

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The One Water Cluster and the artist-led collective Somos Agua/We Are Water are inviting you to our (now) annual celebration of World Water Day at UTEP in March 2022. As we did last year, we will celebrate with a week of interdisciplinary events designed to engage faculty, students and community partners who are working on the issue of water, creating a public platform for increased visibility of water scholarship and activism, as well as an opportunity to develop new connections and working relationships on the topic. We would like to stress that this is not a traditional academic conference – we encourage you to submit proposals for non-traditional formats and to highlight work in progress, new ideas and to raise questions in your activity that might foster new ways of thinking about the topic of water from multiple perspectives. Email wearewater@utep.edu if you have any questions.
