Please contact your local IT support person, or send an email to email@example.com, or to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Include the computer UTEP tag, operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) and computer location.
Faculty and staff home-use licenses are requested directly on the Wolfram User Portal.
- Fill out a Home-Use Mathematica License Request Form (a new browser window will open).
- Use UTEP's license number:L3037-1495 on the first field of the form.
Student home-use licenses are requested directly on the Wolfram User Portal.
- Create an account(New users only):
- Go to user.wolfram.com and click "Create Account"
- Fill out form using a @miners.utep.edu email, and click "Create Wolfram ID"
- Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID
- Request the download and key:
- Fill out this form to request an Activation Key
- Once the request is approved, click the "Product Summary page" link to access your license
- Click "Get Downloads" and select "Download" next to your computer's operating system
- Run the installer on your machine, and enter the Activation Key at the prompt
The first two tutorials are excellent for new users, and can be assigned to students as homework to learn Mathematica outside of class time.
