A degree from the College of Science will prepare you for a career in scientific research, forensic science, bioinformatics, medicine, teaching, and much more. Undergraduate students in the College of Science have the unique opportunity to work with world-class faculty members on research projects of international interest, something usually reserved for graduate students at other universities. UTEP science majors finish their degrees well prepared for graduate school or a job in their field.
