ARHE Southwest Region Representative
The CRP became an active member of the El Paso Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) in 2018.
The CRP has been registered with the Association for Recovery in Higher Education (ARHE) since 2019. The ARHE is the only association exclusively representing collegiate recovery programs (CRPs) and communities (CRCs), the faculty and staff who support them, and the students who represent them. https://collegiaterecovery.org/
The CRP joined a Harm Reduction Taskforce originating from the El Paso ROSC in 2019, and has been a part of its growth into the city-wide collaborative group: El Paso Harm Reduction Alliance (EPHRA). https://www.epharmreduction.com/
The CRP received the Breaking Barriers Award in December 2019 from the Delta Alpha Pi International Honor Society-Beta Phi (DAPi) – University of Texas at El Paso. The award recognizes the CRP’s continued efforts to overcome barriers regardless of race, religion, sex, gender, disability, Veteran status, culture, nationality, socioeconomic status, or tradition and strive to help all individuals overcome barriers and be successful.
