2020-2021 Cost of Attendance
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate for fall and spring semester (9 months) of what it costs a typical student to attend The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and is NOT a bill from UTEP. The COA includes tuition and fees, room and board, an allowance for books and supplies, transportation, loan fees and, if applicable, dependent care.
For students attending less than half - time, the COA includes tuition and fees and an allowance for books, supplies, transportation and dependent care expenses. Contact the Office of Student Financial Aid if you have any unusual expenses that might affect your cost of attendance.
Below is the standard COA for UTEP students in the Colleges of Education, Liberal Arts and Sciences attending full-time and living at home. Due to differential tuition, the COA for colleges vary.
