Fraternity and Sorority Life
Membership in a Greek-lettered organization gives you a unique opportunity to get involved on campus and become friends with people with whom you will share the common bonds of brotherhood & sisterhood.
The fraternity & sorority community at UTEP is based on four pillars of scholarship, leadership, friendship and service. Your decision to join a fraternity or sorority reflects your commitment to these four ideals. Fraternity & sorority members excel in the classroom and organizations provide a number of academic enrichment programs to help foster a commitment to academic excellence. Fraternity men and sorority women are leaders on campus and in the greater community. Greek organizations and SELC provide opportunities for members to develop and enhance their leadership skills.
Also, Greeks share a strong commitment to service and work together to support the Miner community and numerous local and national philanthropies. The Brotherhood and sisterhood within the organization provides students with lifelong friends and opportunities to socialize with other students through event such as Greek Week, Homecoming and Greek Retreat. Make the most of your college experience and Go Greek!
