Student organization leaders, members, advisors are welcomed to take advantage of a variety of programs offered throughout the year. These programs are designed to furthter develop leadership skills, provide access to other organizations across campus for collaboration, awareness of available campus resources, and an understanding of organizational requirements. Student Organization Advancement Program (S.O.A.P)
The Student Organization Advancement Program is a semester long program that introduces student organization members to different strategies that further develop their leadership skills. SOAP additionally provides access to other organizations across campus for collaboration, awareness of available campus resources, and an understanding of organizational requirements. This program echoes the Student Engagement & Leadership Center’s mission to create “meaningful experiences designed to enhance campus engagement and develop the inclusive leadership skill set of the 21st century student demographic.”

MineTracker 101 are virtual sessions that are open for all student organizations. Members, leaders, and Advisors are invited to connect with the SOS team via Zoom, to learn more on tips and tools that can be utilized through MineTracker. MineTracker 101 virtual sessions will be held biweekly on Thursdays.

Student Organization Town Halls are informal open forums for all student organizations. Members, leaders, and Advisors are invited to connect and share ideas with fellow student organization leaders via Zoom. This is a great opportunity to learn about campus resources, new updates, and network.

The Registered Student Organization Orientation is a mandatory program that takes place the week before each semester starts. At least one representation of each organization must attend. Specific details will be posted at the ending of the spring semester for fall 2020.
The RSOlympics is a week filled with enjoyable activities for all registered student organizations to participate in during homecoming week. Student organizations can pair up and celebrate homecoming and have a chance at winning a cash prize! Specific details will be shared in the fall semester.
