Our programs will teach students to be advocates and the voice for underrepresented and marginalized populations. In addition, we will celebrate our commonalities and differences by engaging in shared cultural celebrations and collaborating with diverse organizations and departments.
- The Quench (Queer + Lunch) Series strives to engage attendees in an informative lunch regarding topics of the LGBTQIA+ community. This program provides a safe and educational space for participants to learn more about matters of the LGBTQIA+ community and fosters an atmosphere of education and awareness for participants.
Ally Week is a week-long series which falls under the inclusion and advocacy efforts of the Student Engagement and Leadership Center (SELC). Ally Week strives to engage attendees in informative sessions regarding what others can do to become allies of communities that could benefit from it.
Love Your Body Week
- Love Your Body Week strives to engage attendees in informative sessions regarding how to be appreciative of one’s body and how to properly care for themselves. This program provides a safe and educational space for participants to learn more about how to appreciate themselves as well as get tips on how to better themselves.
