Ideally, topics will contribute to students’ learning outside of the classroom and prepare them for lifelong success. As you write your proposal(s), please keep the conference pillars of Leadership, Innovation, Vision, and Engagement in mind and know that UTEP students will be the primary audience.
Leadership - Students will expand their understanding of leadership and their personal leadership styles, and be able to articulate how that knowledge will be applied when working in groups or in a professional environment.
Innovation - Students will be able to describe and articulate the significance of finding better solutions and how those solutions can aid in their personal, academic, and professional development.
Vision - Students will be able to explain the value of setting goals and establishing a vision for their personal, academic, and professional lives.
Engagement - Students will analyze their understanding of campus and civic engagement and be able to articulate how each type benefits their personal, academic, and professional growth.
