Tutoring
Offer individual and virtual sessions to help with many courses offered at UTEP. We can also assist with test preparation, setting up study plans, and identifying your learning style.
Peer Mentoring
Answer student questions and concerns to ensure they are adjusting well to UTEP. Peer mentors can also assist with career/major exploration, and scholarship applications, and provide other UTEP resources.
Academic Support and Guidance
Individual program advising to understand degree plans and requirements. Will strive to always help participants accomplish academic, career, and personal goals.
Advocacy and Personal Support
Educate and empower students through increasing personal growth and cultivating the skills necessary to make well-informed decisions.
College Success Workshops
Provide participants with new approaches to improve their study skills, time management skills, and organizational skills. Workshops are offered throughout the fall and spring semesters.
Learning Communities
Provide a space and structure for you to align your goals with other students and build your sense of belonging and connection with your peers. Class style guidance and tutoring on writing and reading intensive courses such as UNIV 1301, HIST 1301, and HIST 13002
Registered Student Organization (3SO)
Enhance participants' university experience with community service, leadership roles, fundraising, and volunteer work through the organization.
Computer Lab & Study Rooms
Available for study and research, print for FREE, and provide the standard and specialized software required for courses and research.
Free Testing Supplies
We offer Blue Books, Scantrons, and calculators free of charge.
Assistance with Financial Aid
Offer opportunities to have Financial Aid advisors assist in filling out the FAFSA application and answer any questions you may have.
