Scholar Program

There are four mandatory events held each academic year. These events allow for all scholars to come together to network with Terry Foundation staff, members of the Terry Foundation Board of Directors, Terry Scholar Alumni, and University administrators.

ORIENTATION

At the beginning of each academic year, the Foundation hosts an orientation event for all current and incoming Traditional and Transfer Scholars. Scholars receive valuable information about the Terry Scholarship at UTEP program, strategies for student success, and the Terry Scholar at UTEP student organization on their campus, in addition to meeting their Terry Campus Coordinator and their Scholar Relations contact from the Foundation. Attendance at Terry Orientation is mandatory for all current Terry Scholars at UTEP.

The banquet is an opportunity for Terry Scholars at UTEP to meet and network with the Terry alumni, Directors, Foundation staff, University administrators and other Scholars.
