A study of chemical bonding and structure in organic molecules, functional group synthesis and reactions, reaction mechanisms, nomenclature, stereochemistry, and isomerism. Intended for chemistry majors and others requiring a comprehensive approach to organic chemistry. May not be counted in addition to CHEM 3324. Prerequisites: CHEM 1306-1106 and CHEM 3221. CHEM 3221 may be taken concurrently with CHEM 3321.
