Membership

Membership
at UTEP-SHRM
is
open to any UTEP
student taking the equivalent of at least six credit hours per term (at
least half time) in a degree-seeking program and whose coursework supports
a demonstrated interest in the
business field,
especially in Human Resource Management. An overall GPA of 2.0 is
required. Membership applications may be downloaded from this website or
picked up at our advisor's office in room 229 at the College of Business.

The Student
membership is only
$15.00 a semester.

The
National SHRM
Membership is $35.00
per year. Upon
National
SHRM
Membership approval, an ID number will be assigned to you to let you
access all of
SHRM's
services and the following benefits:

Service-bibliographies are generated on request, at no charge, for
specific HR topics. Save research time, call the Society's
Information Center
at
1-800-283-SHRM.
Identify yourself as a national student member and have your membership
number ready when you call. This is very popular service so please allow
3-4 business days to receive you bibliography.

held each month, along with other activities. The times and places will be
posted on bulletins around the college of business, in the news section of
this web page, and sent via email to those who provide it for us.
