Employers Seek Talent at UTEP Job Fair

The University of Texas at El Paso’s University Career Center will connect current UTEP students, recent graduates, alumni and job seekers in the community with dozens of employers from a wide range of fields at its free Career Connections Job Fair.

Representatives from more than 80 private and government organizations will be available to meet with participants regarding full-time or part-time employment and internship opportunities. Participating organizations represent a wide range of fields. Some employers include ADP, El Paso Electric Co., Las Palmas Del Sol Regional Healthcare System, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft Corp., Penske, U.S. Department of State, Target, AMAC – Index Juárez, and Apple Inc., among others. Students of all majors, classifications and members of the public are encouraged to attend. 

“Career Connections offers students a tailored, one-on-one career fair experience where they can get to know employers and recruiters from all over the country,” said Betsy Castro-Duarte, director of the University Career Center.

“We encourage all attendees to dress in business professional attire, bring copies of their résumé, and be ready to speak to representatives.”
