UTEP Centennial Museum Presents Havana Hallelujah

The University of Texas at El Paso’s Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens presents Havana Hallelujah: Cuban Street Photography by David Smith-Soto. An opening reception and lecture will take place at the museum from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8.

The photography exhibit of 27 color and black-and-white photos, some shot digitally and others on film, opens with a lecture by University of Nebraska Omaha Political Science Professor Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado on the challenges to improving diplomatic and economic ties between Cuba and the U.S.
