Robert G. Webb

Dr. Webb is Co-curator (with Carl S. Lieb) of Herpetology in the Laboratory for Environmental Biology. He is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Texas at El Paso. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Kansas in 1960, majoring in Zoology (minor in Botany) with specialization in herpetology.

Research has been with the systematics of amphibians and reptiles in the southwestern United States, but primarily in Mexico. Current long-range projects include a treatise on the amphibians and reptiles of the Mexican state of Durango.
