The University of Texas at El Paso has launched MinerLink – an online communication and engagement platform for UTEP alumni. Through MinerLink, alumni can keep in contact with each other and also with their alma mater.

The free and user-friendly MinerLink enables users to create a personal profile or update an existing one. The website’s search component enables users to search for UTEP alums by name, class, employer, city, state or major.

By signing up for MinerLink, alumni also can learn about a variety of UTEP initiatives in which they can participate, such as volunteering, mentoring and professional development opportunities, as well as share their own success stories for others to read.

"I am delighted that MinerLink will offer UTEP alumni across the globe a new means to stay connected with each other and the University," said UTEP President Diana Natalicio. "As UTEP graduates increasingly pursue successful professional careers on a global scale, our goal is to provide them a platform to stay engaged, network, and offer their skills and talents to mentor current UTEP students who will follow in their footsteps."

To access MinerLink, UTEP alumni can visit the utep.edu/minerlink to create a profile that will allow them to sign in regularly and stay connected.
