During the past 14 years, The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) has hosted an annual day of community service called Project MOVE (Miner Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences). Campus leaders created this event so UTEP students, faculty, staff, and alumni could give back to the community, which has given so much to the University, and to provide opportunities for volunteers to learn more about the community, its residents, and their needs.
