    1.- Master of Arts in Education

    The Master of Arts in Education is designed for students wishing to pursue research and to continue studies beyond the master's degree. Students may work with the Department of Teacher Education, specifically in the areas of either Instructional Specialist or Reading Education to develop a plan of study. This thirty-semester hour thesis program is described under the College of Education. Six to twelve hours of course work may be taken in a related discipline of which at least three semester hours must be taken in residence.
