The Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs is announcing the creation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Advisory Committee. The ADA Advisory Committee will assist the UTEP community with ADA related matters pertaining to campus accessibility. It will be an action driven committee co-chaired by Alyssa Gutierrez, Director of the Center for Accommodations and Support Services (CASS) and Beatriz Tapia, Director of the Equal Opportunity (EO) Office and ADA Coordinator.
The ADA Advisory Committee is comprised of faculty, staff and student representation and members have been selected based on their university role and involvement, however there are two open slots available for self-nominated individuals.
