Leonard E. Read Public Speaker Series
The Leonard E. Read Public Speaker Series features experts in different fields related to the role of a free enterprise and a free market environment broadly understood. The series’ philosophy takes inspiration from the life, polite personality, and work ethic of Leonard E. Read (1898 – 1983). Read’s most well-known work is “I, Pencil,” which vividly captures the economic complexity and social benefits of a market-friendly environment.
The Leonard E. Read Public Speaker Series is a free event offered to the UTEP community.
