    Master of Science with a Major in Engineering

    The College of Engineering offers an interdepartmental Master of Science degree with a major in Engineering.

    Requirements for Admission:

    See College of Engineering information for general requirements. Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor of Science in an engineering or related physical sciences field. Depending upon selected area(s) of specialization, students may need to complete deficiency undergraduate course work.

    Requirements for Graduate Degree:

    The MS in Engineering is a 33 semester hour non-thesis program. Course work includes:

    1. 18 semester hours in the major field of engineering;
    2. 12 semester hours in a subspecialization; and
    3. 3 semester hours of graduate project.

    Major subspecialization fields for the MS in Engineering include Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
