    The University of Texas at El Paso has a long-standing commitment to quality engineering education. Today the College of Engineering strives to educate engineers to formulate and solve the technical problems of today and tomorrow.

    At the graduate level, the College fulfills its mission by offering graduate degree programs in all of its departments. Master of Science degrees are available in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. In addition to these programs, students may pursue an undesignated Master of Science in Engineering, with concentrations in a number of areas or a Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering. A PhD degree in Computer Engineering is jointly offered by the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science departments. Interdisciplinary PhD degrees are also awarded in Materials Science and Engineering and Environmental Science and Engineering and their program descriptions are provided under Interdisciplinary Studies.
