    Requirements for Admission:

    1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. or proof of equivalent education in a foreign institution;
    2. satisfactory subject preparation and GPA;
    3. satisfactory score on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE); and
    4. TOEFL score of 550 or higher for international applicants whose first language is not English or who have not completed a university degree in the U.S.

    MA DEGREE OPTIONS: Students working toward the Master of Arts degree in History may choose either the standard option or a specialized option in the history of the United States-Mexico Border. Both options provide degree plans with or without a thesis.
