    1.- Requirements for Admission

    Twelve semester hours of advanced courses in Sociology, a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university or proof of equivalent education at a foreign institution, graduate standing, and consent of the advisor. The units presented should include theory and methods. The advisor may recommend that six semester hours of advanced courses in Anthropology be substituted for six of the Sociology hours. Official GRE scores should be sent directly to the Graduate School.
