Immigration
Wherever you are, wherever you go, find yourself. Know that it is not their color, it is not their place. You are only looking for better days. Walking quietly, with little to no food. Hopefully the end comes real soon. You are free to become one with them. Plant your roots and grow a stem.
Nationality
Now don’t forget where you’re from. Remember the foods that made you say yum! But don’t be scared to try new things. It is not wrong to like Chinese. Pretty confusing, I won’t lie. Don’t you try to pick a side. This is the struggle we all face, you can’t be too much of just one place.
Gender
Food is something you can love and hate, but the problem is your “fate.” It’s not a woman’s job to feed them all. There is more to you, so please stand tall. They will tell you how skinny or how fat you look to them. I am here to say, girl you are a gem! Gender roles have always been around. Just don’t do them with a frown.
Education
In a place with different cuisines, do you know what you’re about to eat? Do not limit yourself to certain recipes, especially when there are more tastes to meet. Break the color scheme, break the smells. You’re able to create something bigger than yourself. Learn why others love the foods that they do, learn why they love their grandmas’ stew. The world offers many things, enjoy each and every one of them with an amazing feast.
