Directors Welcome
Thank you for visiting the Stanley E. Fulton Gait Research & Movement Analysis Lab website. The studies conducted in the lab are dedicated to understanding biomechanical and neuromuscular factors involved in human movement through experimental and computational methods. Primarily, we are interested in examining lower extremity motor control during locomotor activities in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and disabilities, with additional focus investigating how healthy individuals adapt movement patterns during walking workstation use, and how various jumping and landing activities influence knee movements between males and females. The lab is equipment with state-of-the-art instrumentation for conducting these types of human-subjects’ research studies. Please browse the website to learn more about our facilities, research projects, faculty, and students.
