The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) serves as UTEP’s resource center for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in engaging in the community through a variety of programs and activities. The CCE connects the resources of the university to help meet community priorities through maintaining healthy and mutually beneficial relationships with community partners.

UTEP Kicks Off Spring 2023 with Miner Welcome

UTEP is welcoming students to campus for the spring semester with a two-week event series called Miner Welcome. Students are invited to learn more about opportunities and resources on campus and connect with their fellow students.

UTEP Receives $200,000 Grant to Expand Health Services and Education to Homeless Population

The University of Texas at El Paso, under the leadership of Eva M. Moya, Ph.D., associate professor of social work, and Guillermina Solis, Ph.D., assistant professor of nursing, received a $200,000 grant from humanitarian charity Direct Relief to expand the H.O.P.E. health fairs and education services to unsheltered and uninsured people in El Paso County.
