Message from the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Services Concerning Covid-19
Be safe and healthy.
We are all important, not just as students, faculty, and staff, but first and foremost as human beings. The country is experiencing a disaster unlike anything seen since the early 1900’s. As you know, the entire country is struggling with responding to this disaster. New information emerges every day if not every hour. The university is also working very hard to keep abreast of new information and respond appropriately. Please check the department web page on a regular basis for new information. Although we are not in the office, staff and faculty are working by checking messages, teaching courses, and taking care of departmental business.
I know we are all concerned and want to share our hopes for each other. As we navigate these stressful times, please remember the following:
First, practice maintaining a safe distance and following guidelines developed to keep you healthy. Completing classes and obtaining degrees are very important, but our health is more important.
Second, department faculty will do what they can to support you. We want everyone to achieve their goal of obtaining a graduate degree.
Third, provide support and help each other as you can while being safe.
