"We received many positive comments on our research poster. Also, we were the only people there representing UTEP, which stood out to everyone!"
UTEP CREATE was proudly represented at the ASEE Gulf Southwest Section Annual Conference — one of the most respected regional gatherings for engineering educators and students. Our delegation arrived prepared, presenting a research poster that drew attention and sparked conversation throughout the event.
What made the moment especially meaningful: they were the only attendees representing UTEP — a distinction that did not go unnoticed. From conversations with faculty at other institutions to feedback on their poster, our students made their mark.
Received widespread positive feedback on their research poster from educators across the region.
Stood as the sole UTEP representation — making their presence impossible to overlook.
Built professional relationships with engineering educators and peers from universities across the Gulf Southwest.

We are incredibly proud of Christopher and all CREATE students who stepped up to represent UTEP at this conference. Their work, their presence, and their professionalism are a direct reflection of the mission we pursue every day. Way to go!
