Mining Engineering Summer Camp 

Limited Scholarships Available

Because of generous support, 75 scholarships are available for UTEP’s Mining Engineering Summer Camps. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants selected for a scholarship will be refunded after attending the camp in June.

Who can attend?

High school students entering their sophomore, junior and senior year in Fall 2026 interested in STEM careers.

Why attend?

Learn how mining engineering supports infrastructure, technology, energy production and modern life, while building problem solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills needed for your future career.

  • Step inside a real foundry and gain experience in extractive metallurgy
