One of the great accomplishments of the Healthcare Data Analytics (HDA) environment at UTEP is that a team of undergraduate and graduate students participated in a national student competition organized by the HealthCare Systems Process Improvement (HSPI) Conference 2024 and won the second runners-up position. In addition, the team has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
This team consists of faculty experts in different fields of healthcare systems research and a talented cohort of undergraduate students. we also partnered with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for expert involvement in medical fields.
