Extended University is UTEP’s hub for online and other nontraditional academic programs, professional training and education, and community enrichment. We strive to improve access to UTEP’s outstanding educational opportunities for all who seek them out.
Our component units provide educational opportunities and services to support both nontraditional students and educators interested in new modes of teaching.

The Center for Instructional Design provides online instructors with guidance on best practices in instructional design and development to help maximize students' online learning experience.
OLLI at UTEP provides learning opportunities to enhance the enjoyment, meaning, and direction of adult lives as well as the health and well-being of adults.
The Office of Youth Program Development and Support is a centralized office on the UTEP campus to assist with planning, organizing and coordinating youth programs.
Microcredential Pathways offer access to industry- and UTEP-developed certificates, and provide support for the development and delivery of microcredentials.
