Dear Colleagues,
The UTEP Institute for Scholarship, Pedagogy, Innovation, and Research Excellence (InSPIRE) invites you to submit one or more session proposals to present at this year’s conference on Elevating Student Success through Collaboration and Innovation, to be held October 9 – 11 in the Union Building East.
This event is an opportunity for all members of our community - students, faculty, and staff - to share innovative approaches that enhance student success. Whether you've developed a cross-departmental initiative that streamlines services, designed a collaborative teaching practice that involves students in curriculum creation, or led a campus-wide project that improves the student experience, your insights are essential to driving positive change. Join us in exploring new partnerships and strategies that foster a more supportive and successful academic environment for all.
Proposals involving (under)graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, part-time/adjunct/affiliate faculty, and staff as co- and/or lead presenters are strongly encouraged.
We are soliciting proposal types ranging from pre-conference workshops (3 hrs. in duration) to lightning talks (15 min.), roundtables, and posters. For more information, see this Description of Sessions. Please note that the proposal review committee may recommend that a submission be restructured to fit within a different presentation format as a result of the review process. If this is the case, the author(s) will be contacted to discuss the proposed modification(s).
In preparing your submission, we recommend that you consult the following proposal template. Please note that this template is a way for you to view all of the questions, but you will still need to complete the proposal at the link below.
In the interim, please do not hesitate to reach out to inspire@utep.edu with any questions or concerns that might arise, and we look forward to reviewing your submissions!
Proposal Deadline 11:59 pm, Friday, Sept. 13th.
