Learning Communities are one of the high-impact practices recognized by the UTEP Edge. Learning communities seek to improve your academic success and ease college transition by connecting you with peers. Learning communities will help make your first-year curriculum more coherent, cohesive, synergistic, and relevant to your interests and aspirations. Learning communities comprise 20-25 students in two or three linked courses. You and your peers will attend linked courses together. For example, you might attend the same sections of UNIV and history. Some assignments may also be integrated to help you connect with other peers and learn together.
