About the Liberal Arts Curriculum Committee
The Liberal Arts Curriculum Committee (LACC) reviews and approves undergraduate curriculum proposals for the College of Liberal Arts. Departments within the College may submit proposals related to undergraduate programs, including: Change a Course, Change a Degree or Program, Add a Course, Delete a Course, Propose a New Degree, or Propose a New Minor.
Proposals are typically submitted to the LACC by the Department Chair or the department’s LACC representative.
Graduate program proposals should be submitted to the College of Liberal Arts Graduate Curriculum Committee through Dr. Caitlyn Muniz (cnmuniz@utep.edu). Fast-track programs that include curriculum proposals should submit them simultaneously to both the undergraduate and graduate committees.
