Graduate Students Can Impact Student Success, Win Prizes by Taking Survey
The Graduate School launched its fourth annual Graduate Program Satisfaction Survey, which gathers feedback from graduate students to enhance student experiences. The survey launched March 1 and has a deadline of April 15, 2023.
Students’ responses can help UTEP leaders understand their educational experience, the challenges they face and the support they need on their graduate education journey, according to Graduate School Dean Stephen Crites, Ph.D.
“Results from prior years’ surveys have helped to develop solutions to improve the graduate education experience by increasing student engagement, simplifying curriculum, and working toward linking classroom skills to career skills,” he said.
Graduate students received an email invitation to take the survey and can also find it by checking their email for “Program Survey 2023.
Graduate students can ask about the survey and pick up free UTEP swag at locations around the University on the following dates:
- 11-a.m.-1p.m. April 3, Campbell Building
- 11 a.m.-2 p.m., April 5, Blumberg Auditorium, University Library (Graduate Student Appreciation Week Resource Fair)
- 1-2 p.m. April 10, Library Second Floor Lobby
- 12-1 p.m. April 12, Campbell Building
All survey responses are anonymous and can help identify areas of improvement for graduate student experiences.
Respondents also have a chance to win a $50 UTEP Bookstore gift card after completing the survey. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
