UTEP Launches Online MBA Program

Program offers high-quality education and online convenience to professionals worldwide

EL PASO, Texas (June 6, 2023) – The Woody L. Hunt College of Business at The University of Texas at El Paso has launched a new, online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The online MBA is designed to meet the evolving needs of business leaders by offering a flexible and immersive learning experience that combines high-quality education with the convenience of online delivery to working professionals worldwide.

"We are thrilled to introduce our online MBA program, which combines the academic rigor of our on-campus programs with the flexibility and accessibility of online learning,” said James Payne, Ph.D., dean of the Woody L. Hunt College of Business. “This program empowers aspiring business leaders to advance their careers, gain practical skills, and make a lasting impact in their respective industries."

The 16-month online MBA program brings together technology, expert faculty and a comprehensive curriculum to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in modern business environments — all at an affordable price.

Coupled with an online learning platform, students in the program will have access to interactive course materials, virtual classrooms, multimedia resources and real-time collaboration tools.

“This dynamic learning environment fosters peer-to-peer engagement, networking opportunities, and collaborative problem-solving, mirroring the on-campus classroom experience,” Payne said.
