The University of Texas at El Paso will honor the contributions of teachers, administrators and support staff at public and private schools throughout Region 19 during the UTEP football game against the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles. The game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at Sun Bowl Stadium.

UTEP, with the help of TFCU, El Paso Area Teachers Federal Credit Union, organized this annual event to recognize the efforts of all school personnel who teach, engage, nurture and mentor students in their care. Their encouragement helps thousands of area students to believe in themselves and their dreams. The ripple effect positively impacts the families, friends and neighbors in our community.

Each teacher, administrator and support staff member received an invitation to the game along with the opportunity to register for up to four general admission tickets. School employees in attendance will receive a commemorative UTEP/TFCU teacher appreciation t-shirt as they enter the stadium on game day.
